Christos G. Michalakelis, PhD
With degrees in Mathematics, Management and Economics of Telecommunications Networks, and Software Engineering, Dr Michalakelis is well-known for his contributions to the Techno-Economic Analysis of Telecommunications Networks.
Dr Michalakelis is a leading EU academician and administrator. With over two decades of international experience, he heads the “Study in Greece” program that attracts international students to Greek Universities.
Dr Michalakelis has been involved in professional ICT activities, including the design and implementation of information systems for various educational and research programs. Notably, he contributed to the development of the information system for the remote evaluation of proposals for the Archimedes III and Thales programs. Additionally, he served as the IT Manager for the Greek Ministry of Education, where he designed and implemented information systems to support educational initiatives.
Dr Michalakelis actively participates in administrative committees and projects within the academic institutions he is affiliated with. He has contributed to various academic committees involved in decision-making processes and the development of rules and regulations.
Throughout his career, Dr Michalakelis has published numerous articles in reputable journals and made contributions to scientific conferences, advancing knowledge in his field of expertise. He is actively involved in numerous PhD advisory committees.
